Comment:A mathematician, John Von NeuMann, around 1982' discovered through his calculations, that a non-material entity, can affect the material of the brain. He was/is considered the smartest man in the world, in his day, as his specialty was speed-scanning a black-board full of calculations, and picking out the errors of his students. He also discovered that the soul has the ability to survive the death of the brain. It took him, with the help of about two dozen students, two weeks, to do said discoveries, in the basement of the college he managed in England. He is an atheist, and my source is Science Digest magazine, which is dead now, but the info may be still available. Math is not my forte, but I have found semantics to be a valid short-cut for math. And I don't have two weeks to solve problems, it's just that one has to be careful, to make what one says self-evident, to have the same credibility as math. The big-bang is an effect, whose cause was either a plan or an accident. The dictionary says that an 'accident' has no value, and as value exists in the universe, it follows that a 'plan' created everything. Whereas a 'plan' has a 'planner', obviously the creative entity is intelligent. Until a suitable rebuttal is brought forth, this 'intelligence' is God. Please read 'I don't have enough faith to be an atheist' by N.Geisler and F.Turek, because it brings everything (science and religion) together in ONE book. It also justifies which religion is right, without using religious dogma. It's approach is linear and readable, without the use of proprietary terms. Have I proved there is a God ? ---- that depends on whether your decision is volitional or intellectual, I just want you to be comfortable.
