Subject:Co-incidently
Comment:Its curious to do a search, on say Google, for your own name and find that somebody else with it exists. Not only that, but lived in Oxford and is a Dr. at Essex University. I was brought up in the Town of Witney, some 12 miles west of Oxford, and studied Computing at Essex University in the mid 70's. In the 90's I got interested in books on the Holy Grail - notably, Henry Lincoln's books starting with 'The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail' - which prefaced some interesting holidays in the south of France. Co-incidence?

Subject:statistics and coincidence
Comment:a statistics teacher in the psychology dept at Brock University once told our class that coincidences happen, that most psychic events use coincidences as proof of their validity. I was wondering if you could convert your experiences into data and somehow prove that these are not separate or anomalistic events. the horse bet alone seems like it had the odds of a winning lottery ticket though, quite amazing.
