Although my question for any promoter of Intelligent Design is 'What, then, designed the Designer??' and therefore I have no sympathy with its promulgation, I have to remark upon eadon´s description of the urban myth of neo-Darwinism as 'proven science'.

There are, as I am sure you realize, a few places where I would take issue with your conclusions, but, overall, it is a very compelling and well-stated account of the impressions and emotions of one who 'was there'.
btw....even though many claim that Allah and the Christian God are the same deities simply referred to by different names, I assure you they are not.
Allah is NOT the one who wrote on stone tablets 'thou shalt not murder'. :)

I very much appreciated your very lucid comments (as well as the troubling questions you raised). Your comments about walking to and from work in the company of strangers, yet sharing a common sense of purpose, reminded me of my own experience during the 9/11 attacks on the US. I was traveling by plane from the Boston area to San Diego. My flight departed about 7:45a, so I was unaware of the attack until after my flight was ordered down by the FAA. I remained stranded in St. Louis, MO for 4 days with no flights available and no rental cars to be had. Each morning I went from my hotel to the airport and waited hours for flights that never manifested, only to return to my room alone and to watch the gruesome news. On the Friday following the attack, I was able to rent a car and I drove back from St. Louis to Boston. Each time I stopped for fuel, people would ask me, 'where are you from? where were you stranded?' etc. Every service station was full of people with license plates from Colorodo, California, Oregon, and even Alaska, as all of us stranded Easterners (since only east-coasters were the ones on the planes during the early morning attacks) made their ways home. The comraderie was comforting and uniting in the midst of the horror we all felt.
What was Rudy Guilianni doing in London that morning? Perhaps that is now an idle question, because the entire house of Bush is about to fall in the USA over Karl Rove, over an act committed in 2003...an act upon which the White house refuses to comment and these bombings have been the only media competition for the Rove scandal...hmmm.

Yet all they that have tried to prove the Bible wrong have failed and many of those that have truly searched for darwins theory have woke up and the blinders over their eyes have fell off and they have come into the Lord's kingdom by being born again by the Lord Jesus coming to dwell inside them. Who is to say that those 'Power Surge' news, even when 'real facts' were known, wasn't Government Propaganda? I am sorry but I am always very suspicious and sceptial of any News, regardless of the country involved, particularly during the TIMES OF WAR, and UK is in War with Iraq. And let us not forget that the head of this Goverment is TB, the man with Satan eyes hehehehe. The Government Propaganda picture I got from the News was 'We are not going to VICTIMISE anybody until we get the FULL FACTS in' and this story was repeated for the next few days. BBC (Government organ) spreading news about Power Surge just proves to the masses how CAREFULL Government is in not making any rushed judgment, and how Open Minded Government is in taking ANY possibility into consideration. I also find bombings on 21st very suspicious too. The Truth is that 'Real Facts' are only what reporters are fed, the Truth is that it is in Government’s INTEREST to create and maintain the state of panic and paranoia in London. And I wouldn't be surprised at all if bombings on the 21st were either initiated by Government or by some anti-Islamic group. The Police cars going up and down the town, sirens blasting, was, in my opinion, DELIBERATE attempt to create a feeling of chaos, panic and terror in London, it most likely was just a part of Tony's clever and sophisticated Propaganda machine. Let's be honest here, the era of using media to pour Propaganda down peoples' throats are over.
Propaganda machine in any democratic is more subtle than that - it works on subconscious level so people seemingly can make up their own private opinion. That is the power and danger of democracy: everybody is free to think what they like, but any thinking is based on facts to which nobody really has access to.
Your comments on the BBC were a bit harsh, I felt. I have worked as a journalist, and when something like this happens you have to rely heavily on the information that you are fed from the authorities, London Underground etc. On that day I reached Bank (Central line) just after they closed the station from the explosion. I had not seen the news, and was told directly by the station staff that there was a power failure in the station. I knew that Tower Hill was the same (having just walked from there) but assumed that there was a problem with the local sub-station. The power surge was obviously what the BBC had been told, and by the time I reached the office, the news was coming through that there was suspected terrorist activity.
Regarding Canary Wharf, my friends who work there knew nothing of it until the stories started to filter through across the Internet.
Your perception that the Provisional IRA was a religious terrorist organization; that American support of Irish nationalists has waned as a result of the 2002 attack on NYC; and your failure to mention Loyalist paramilitaries and the British Army in occupied Ireland leads me to believe that your are either very naive or very uninformed.
