Subject:Political Correctness
Comment:I disagree, Eadon, with the majority of your article. This is unusual since I am in almost total agreement with all your other articles I have read. Political correctness should be innate in anybody who believes that being fair and kind to other people is a fulfilling philosophy. It does not try to deny the differences between races, cultures and people- it merely tries to show that these differences do not make one group 'better' or 'worse' than any of the others. Since political correctness has become accepted, tolerance and a much more laid-back feeling has slowly enveloped this country. To see homosexuals kissing on TV 10 years ago caused a huge upset. Middle aged people across the land (my parents included- i am 20) ranted about how vile and disgusting it was. Now if the same scene is shown, who the hell cares? It's not harming anyone, so let it be. Nowadays, anyone who complains about how wrong it is to be gay just comes across as a miserable, outdated idiot. It is now totally unacceptable to all but deeply ignorant and nasty to use racist terms under any circumstances, even among friends.

Comment:In the 70's, our great british flag was becoming known worldwide as a symbol of biggotry and racism. I do not want MY flag to be associated with people who hate anyone different to themselves. One of the few redeeming features of the 80's was to give the UK a social conscience and make us all realise how much happier we can be if we eliminate prejudice and hate. If you understand political correctness then you will also understand that it will not infringe on your freedom of speech at all if you mean no harm to anyone else. If I call someone in the street a f**king f**got, that constitutes assault. If I say it behind their back, it is legal. It does not make it right though. As far as i am concerned, youre freedom of speech is annuled when you say something like that. I have no time for you. I view non-PC statements in the same way. Why are you being deliberately biased and unpleasant to a group of people most of whom to you are complete strangers? And that is where political correctness can offer a guide- to those people who fail to see why performing those type of actions is wrong.

Subject:A Couple of Defensive Points...
Comment:A few things I wold just like to mention. Firstly- you say PC, and therefore I also, are fascist. 'It is wrong to treat other people badly or with mistrust just because they are different to yourself.' Is that statement (of truth in my opinion) a fascist one? If it is then I suppose I better tatoo a huge swastika on my chest. However, I somehow don't think Hitler would have agreed with the statement at all. You think that if I say this statement to you I am, apparently, infringing on your rights. Do you honestly feel that you have a right to offend and upset other people and segregate them from those you consider 'normal'? And as for the 'promotion' of homosexuality in our schools... LOL!!! I was educated by a system that 'promoted' homosexuality. It has produced a straight man who feels that a persons sexual orientation is their own choice and that no orientation is weird or wrong. I don't consider it an issue when deciding if I like a person. Homosexuality is not promoted, children are simply educated.

Subject:contd...
Comment:Your generation was clearly not educated about it and the result of your non-PC schooling has led to you and 'most non-homosexual people you chat to to' (presumably f a similar age) to become alarmed and angered by two men kissing. Why do you care? What exactly is bothering you? Is it the cliche of your lack of confidence in your own sexual orientation? The rioting you mentioned is in areas where the majority of the population are not PC. They sit in pubs saying things like 'I'm not being racist, but...'. This is very much a class thing. We don't have rioting in London because people are forward thinking, accept PC and realise a multicultural society is way more fun and interesting than a monoculture. Sadly, those in local council type jobs are often also racist. They don't understand the purpose of PC. They say things like 'I'm not racist, I have loads of black friends.' This is a racist thing to say. Either you have a friend, or you don't. This ignorance leads to many of the problems you find, with postive discrimination, hate crime laws and so forth. If the people making these laws *truly* understood what PC is about, they would stop causing these unneccesary conflicts with the general public. The best you can do is to see this, stop using phrases like 'PC gone mad' and just relax, accept people for what they are and enjoy life. The only things I won't tolerate are those who hurt others, and intolerance itself. Sorry, gone on too long here.

Comment:I totally agree with your statements. One thing caught my attention. how do you view born again christians. peopel who follow religion or a simple faith. I have only been a christian for two years and am amazed at how man can take the simple teachings of jesus about simple faith and turn it into an institute of laws, rules, etc religion is man made. We live in such a crazy world where everyones truth is truth, good has now become bad. yrs ago if a muslim raped a girl in sweden he would be jailed, or in his own country executed. now its the girls fault. There is a simple difference between men and women, thee is a part of man that when put into a women produces life. surley that was the normal starting point. Now its normal for man to sleep with man, women with women, and lets give them the same rights as heterosexual couples even though there is a blatant difference. Like you i have nothing against homosexuals, but we are living in a crazy world where the normal has become abnormal. role on death.

Comment:I see Presidents hugging each other during important meetings. I see football players hugging each other after the match. I see men hugging each other during moments of joys and condolences and congratulations on practically EVERY DAMN MOVIE. Nobody raises an eye brow. This is perfectly acceptable and normal social behaviour. But if I tried to hug somebody at work to say goodbye because they are leaving, or to congratulate somebody on an promotion, or hug somebody in the pub as a form of greeting because I haven't seen them for a long time - I will get funny looks and silly jokes would be made to 'neutralise' electric and embarassingly uncomfortable situation such hug created. I find that totally MAD!

Subject:Political Corrcetness the war against
Comment:I am a totally angry anti PC Academic (Archaeologist/philosopher) who has had his career destroyed by PC because I will not sacrifice truth that it is my duty as a scholar to pursue, not some PC version of it. I ahve written a book @A Question of Balance?' in three volumettes available at www.guyleven-Torres.co.uk. The first is available to all on the website. The others can be downloaded for a nominal fee. I have declared war on thes cultural iconoclastic philistines!I call PC and its philosophy Paradological Nihilism as it defeats the truth through parody and pardpx so undermining the truth. A shorter philosphic term is bullshit! However simple terms never impress the Far Left bigots who are liers and murderers (oh yes). They forced a colleague of mine to commit suicide! I swore revenge on that day! I now spend my life trying to defeat them and it is hard work! I ahve been called racist even though my wife is a black hispanic! Thes people are worse than the nazisd believe me. Guy leven-Torres MA(Hons), FSEFA

Comment:Many thanks for this site!!! It is great!!! It is nice to know I am not on my own fighting or rather writing against PC and its Islamist extremist allies. I have recently been the target of threats and surveillance by 'Intellligence' including one nut that offered me the services of 'Intelligence Officrs@. I reported this fruitcake to the Police and told him he had seen too many 'Secret Squirrel' cartoons!! Excellent site!! Well done! Guy

Comment:What a complete fool! This type of individual is so typical of the Left. They simply do not have the intellect to understand right from wrong! I hope this fellow can nurse his own conscience and obviouslt personal political agenda. His comments about homosexuality on TV are particularly offensive and people have the right to feel as they do. So waht gives him the right to rant as he has done!? From the looks of it we'd all end up in a 'Forest of Stettin' mass grave on Dartmoor if he had his way! Stettin by the way for your younger readership was where the Russians exterminated the Polish Intelligentsia in 1939 after they took over part of Poland. I don't like seeing men cavorting and kissing on TV as this afronts my morality. Would Greystreak have me arrested then and either buried or more likely 're-ecucated' in some gulag he and his kind would love to establish so that everybody they don't like or agree with is 'made' to see things this way? Greystreak you and your kind are bloody dangerous mate and I equate you and your kind with evil regimes from the past that did the sort of things described above. People cannot be made to think the way you and your kind demand! Learn from history. The human mind and conscience is the property of self not you and your ilk!!!!! Yse sir..You are a very dangerous individual like all your kind taht have turned this country into a cesspit of amorality!!! And by the way before you accuse me of homophobia or racism, my wife is black and my best mate gay!!!

Subject:Mother's Day
Comment:As a service industry card manufactruers are illegally discriminating... I went into a card shop to buy a Mother's day card and found 'To my mother on mother's day' 'To My Nan on Mothers day', but was unable to find 'To my Father's Mistress on Mother's Day' or 'To my single parent Father on Mother's day'. I class this as discriminating against Mistresses and Fathers. The proposal for which I would like support is that Mother's day cards should all be changed to read 'To my parent/guardian or the one who I consider my parent, on parent/guardian day 1' all Father's day cards should then read 'To my parent/guardian or the one who I consider my parent, on parent/guardian day 2'

Comment:I am in overseas construction and in the past couple years have had the occasion to work in various locations within the former soviet union and ended up marrying one of it's citizens. She has informed me that all this PC crap is very reminescent of the political re-habilitation programs from the old days. If you get fired from a job or otherwise imposed upon by the PC nazis, then it's a small price to pay for doing what's right and standing up for your rights. Just remember that the key for any PC nazis' success is the ability to take advantage of your fair nature. It's rule by MAJORITY with consideration for the minority NOT the other way around. I'll get off my soapbox now.
