The Landlord's
surprise was fantastic
What was this? The Devil's trick?
He posed a riddle for all to hear
What's that GIRL doing in my
beer?
The Landlord had never seen the like
Of a girl having fun in his pint
There was nowt so strange and nowt so weird
As a frolicking girl in a nice
cool beer
The Landlord was held in baffled thrall
By her lovely breast stroke and cute front crawl
The locals gathered and did point and peer
At the smiling girl in the
Landlord's beer
The Landlord was thirsty for his pint of ale
O what bad news for the girl in this tale
For he raised his glass and in heartiest cheer
He gulped down the girl in
his glass of beer
The Landlord and girl didn't quite agree
He was sick in the sink multicolouredly
And returned to the world in a carroty weir
The puke-soaked girl lost her
fancy for beer
The Landlord too lost his taste for the stuff
His beer days were over, he had had enough
A glass of Bordeaux would do just fine
What's that GIRL doing in my
wine?
