I'm standing in the entrance to an Italian Medieval castle. Forget the name. They have nice flails (an ancient hand weapon), for sale. One now rests by my computer at work. My colleagues are very polite to me now.





The basilisk at St Marks Sqare, Venice. Shame they put an ugly pole and tourists in the way. Except for me that is.





Cattolica. A quick pose before drinking wine with the locals and at one point singing Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here with them. (In English, or the closest approximation to the language we could summon up. I'm English, but the Italians mastered it better than me. 'Tis true, they have style).
