Caution: note to spammers don't bother. Your moronic spam will be deleted. For me it is an inconvenience, but spammers that parasitise guestbooks (putting in links to the dodgy, usually criminal sites they are trying to promote), often polluting the guestbooks of kids that might not know how to delete entries, are the mother of all scum. Spam is not clever or smart any more than taking candy off children is clever or smart. (I am not clever or smart either, but at least I am not a vandal (most of the time :P)). Incidentally, what are our elected governments doing about the spam junk email problem? They need to close the legal loopholes fast, they are letting us down. Spam is illegal in the same way junk faxes are illegal.

REAL (UN-MASSAGED) UNEMPLOYMENT IS CIRCA 18% AND SOARING; THE U.S. HAS IN EXCESS OF 50 TRILLION INTEREST-INCURRING DEBT PLUS WELL OVER 60 TRILLION IN LIABILITIES, TOO, FOR EXAMPLE HEALTH CARE. THE BAILOUTS ARE JUST PAPERING OVER THE CRACKS OF AN ECONOMY WHICH IS COLLAPSING. THE 'RECOVERY' IS FAKE. LOOK HOW HIGH THE GOLD PRICE IS!

Comment:economic depression update... true uk unemployment has risen to 27.6% the government gets its 'official' (massaged) unemployment register by sending about half of young people to uni to go on pointless, watered down courses and pick up a worthless degreee. this keeps them off the register 4 a while, then theres the pointless work schemes too. also u go off the register if u have given up looking 4 work. just ask urself if theres all these 'green shoots' why does uk plc (bankrupt) continue 2 do all this quanititative easing? we're fucked!

Comment:As a young taxpayer (19) I feel very disillusioned with state of this country and believe it has deteriorated significantly since New Labour came to power in 1997 under the hateful Tony Blair. Immigrants are flooding into our country and breaking up native white communities which have lived there for generations. They get preference over housing, steal our jobs and have the cheek to send their wgaes back to their own country. Great for our economy, eh? Romanian gypsies and major drug gangs are going to be blighting our streets soon and unless people wake up and vote for the BNP we're going to be outnumbered, lose our identity and will be heading for Muslim Sharia Law. How do you ignorant Labour left-wing do-gooders like that prospect?

Comment:Thanks for a refreshing change and point of view. It is so easy to get carried away believing one is justified in what one is doing, sometimes people forget why they even started like they did and what for. I think religious zealots are true indicator the creator has a sense of humor. One would well to avoid them.

Comment:by the way, when just reading about your filosophy, I remebered something curious, in metholodology of knowlegde class, when I didn´t care about most of the school subjects, I remeber a homework, I had to investigate the meaning of the word 'epistemology' (in spanish) and I just copy-pasted it and didn´t even read it. some days after that, I was reading about many themes that interest me in wikipedia and I found that word so I clicked on it to see the meaning and the funny thing is that my favorite own frase is 'I only know that I don´t know what I know' (don´t confuse it with the 'I only know that I don´t know anything' frase), and when I was reading the meaning of the word it said that you can resume the word in one question: 'how do you know what you know?'....and the answer is the frase I already invented to myself many months ago, 'I only know that I don´t know what I know'... I think you can understand my frase, its a little bit complicated to explain and even more for someone like me that has complications to explain myself and seem a little bit dumb sometimes when trying to explain something thats on my mind, and worst trying to explain it in another language that is not mine.

Comment:Listen you ponk, i just read your movie review about the Review about he Passion of the Christ, and I thought you were one of the stupidest people in this entire universe. (And those people, who support you, are going to go to hell with you.) Whatever you wrote about Jesus’ existence is a blasphemy against God. Well let me be clear here because I do not want to have anything with you, however I couldn’t keep myself from telling you that satan your father is very pleased for your wrong doings, and at the end you are going to burn in hell with him because basically that’s his place. Oh and just to let you know you have many grammar and spelling mistakes so if I were you before I submitted anything on my website I would have at least asked someone to check it for me. I really really really really really really feel sorry for you and those who like you. Pity that’s what I have for you.

Comment:What is SPIRITUALITY for me? In entire universe we can see contradictions .We call it 'DWAIT' which means two opposite or supplementary things e.g. good and bad, cool & hot etc. There is only one thing 'ADWAIT' (one and only) to whom we call 'BRAMHA'.People say BRAMHA (or say GOD, but he is different than GOD) is good, but he is not. As he is ADWAIT; he is without any feelings or anything which has a counterpart in a negative sense. He is empty & he is everything. Then what is BRAMHA? According to HINDUISM,It is a material spread across the Universe and gives reaction to our action. Now theory of 'KARMA' comes in to the picture. It has lot of spiritual meanings but in simple words 'an action which will lead to a reaction'. If action is bad, reaction is also bad and vice versa. “Every KARMA will bounce back from BRAMHA.”Consider this example; we are standing in a swimming pool, and hit the water with our hand. Because of this action, some water hits our face. We can say it’s the first reaction which is very fast. Now next thing happens as water waves goes to the edge of the pool and comes back, and hits our face again. This second reaction is very important. Wave takes time as has to make journey towards pools edge and then back. Suppose if it takes five minutes to come back, how much time our KARMA can take to bounce back from BRAMHA? (As we know, it is ANADI ANANT!!!!) It can take our next life or next to next life to get reaction to what we have done in this life. Even we have done nothing wrong in our life, some times bad things happen. Why we have to suffer? Understand 'KARMA', we had done something wrong before and we are getting its reaction. Then why we need GOD? We need him because he is the one who will give us the strength to face our fate. If we always remember him in our mind, we will never do bad things in our life again. We will face the faith positively & won’t feel suffering any more. Haven’t we normally see, great people suffering a lot in their life? They are very close to get MOKSHA and they need to empty their Bank Balance of KARMA as fast as possible to reach to the BRAMHA.

Comment:One question you noted in an essay about the existence of God was how, if God exists, was he created in the first place. If you took time to read the Bible, you would realize that it states many a time that God is eternal-has always existed and will continue to. One must accept that it's not within the capacity of human intelligence to understand eternity because we are mortals. However, one has always existed, not as a person, but as genes etc. which makes an afterlife inevitable. The counter-argument is obvious- we only exist consciously once. I would also like to comment on various assinine comments regarding science. Ignorant people often view science as the enemy of religion-they could not be more wrong. In fact science is like a brother to religion and makes God more likely (to those who have genuine intelligence).I'm sick and tired of people believing the general consensus (definately not spelled concensus) and using it to brag of their 'knowledge'. One may call me a hypocrite as I regularly boast my knowledge to my friends. However, there is a difference, I actually know what I'm talking about and have read into the topic which is being discussed. Very unlike the majority of the population, who voted Blair in for a third term

Any health problem we can deal with naturally. But, we have to be willing to change out ways. If we always do what we've always done... DON'T DRINK YOUR MILK OR EAT CHEESE, ITS POISON! You would think that if we do all these dairy products as we surely do. We would have strong bones which we surely don't. Its a lie. THE SUGAR IN POP INCREASES YOUR CHANCE FOR DIABETES BY UP TO 80%. A 66% INCREASE IN OESOPHAGEAL CANCER HAS LINKED TO PEOPLE WHO DRINK DIET POP. 62% MORE DECAY,FILLINGS & TOOTH LOSS WITH POP Drink up!! What right do we have to put down the way people are trashing the planet when we are trashing our bodies. Could be the ones complaining the most are the ones trashing there bodies the most. Want to make a difference? Be knowledgable and responsible for what you put in your body. It is your temple, in it resides your Spirit, and That, is Sacred as are You.

It includes roundups of the latest news from the various scientific fields that form astrobiology, but more interestingly includes a daily analysis of how a different “Star Trek” alien might have evolved. So far, he’s looked at the salt vampire, Klingons, Talosians, Species 8472, Thasians, Balok, the Old Ones and the Alfa 117 canine.

Comment:EVOLUTION AND COMMON SENSE It's just common sense: 1. The scientific community would not accept evolution unless it were soundly proved. As a theory, evolution (Darwin) is on par with plate tectonics and the Big Bang. If origins of species were not understood, science would say so, just as it does concerning black hole singularities, time before the Big Bang, and life on other planets. Science is not scheming against Christians. 2. Evolution has no baring on the existence of God, because He could easily have created a universe complex enough to allow evolution to proceed by natural law. The presence and manifestation of God in the universe are not nullified by evolution. 3. Almost everything is evolving according to natural law: from the expanding universe, to the death of stars, to the changing chemistry of the Earth's atmosphere. Is life the only thing that doesn't evolve by natural law -- requiring the continual 'tinker toying' of God? Evolution is a simple, elegant theory, supported by the vast majority of scientists, an extensive fossil record, genetics, geology, biology, observed evolution (laboratory and natural), and of course, common sense. It seems to me that a lot of 'seekers' listen for someone to tell them what is correct. However, pehaps a religion should be a way for people to find their way on their own. I mean, to believe that one IS th euniverse, seems quite appealing to me. And, that WE are actually the ones that shape history.

Comment:The Danish and Swedish drinking toast (skal) has a rather macabre background; it originally meant 'skull'. The word has come down from a custom practiced by the warlike and terrorist Vikings who used the dried-out skulls of their enemies as drinking mugs, with the evident advantage that the mug held a large quantity of mead and could be easily replaced. The Danish and Swedish governments have the nationalistic ideology called Nordism which teaches the Danes and Swedes to hate Finnish language and its speakers, ordinary Finns. - Hate crimes to come by those two (EU member state) governments?

Matrix trilogy is blatant propaganda by the Jewish Hegemony of Hollywood and, much as I do like the Jews (incidentally, I am neutral in my opinion of the Jewish-Arabic conflict, but abhor to think what the world would be like ruled by Taliban-minded Muslims), and much as I enjoyed watching the first two matrix movies I think that an honest review of the Matrix movies should point out Hollywood's sneaky propaganda, even if it exposes me to accusations of hatred of the Jews, which, and I can safely give you my word of honour on this, are completely untrue accusations! - Eadon

Comment:Hi Nataly, I'm the author of those matrix reviews on this site. I know you might be trolling, but here goes! Thanks for your message. I know what you're saying, a racist will prepend a racist statement with something like: 'some of my best friends are <insert race> BUT...' And that is a fair point you make. However, in this case, please don't be too offended, I was merely pointing out sincere facts in a very relevant context, which I will explain soon. Firstly, here's a question, why are you offended when I point out a FACT, that Hollywood is run by Jews? Is that fact offensive to you? You seem to behave as if the matter should be hushed up (and many Jews, especially the Hollywood oligarchy agree with you), why is that? Are you ashamed that Hollywood is run by Jews? Or are you trying to insinuate that Hollywood isn't run by Jews? Assuming you acknowledge that Hollywood is run by Jews, then I can only conclude that any statement to this effect is considered by you to be evil. In the same way, is it evil to say that most suicide bombers are Muslims? Or Arabic? Or is that stating a fact that is, perhaps, less unpalatable to you, though obviously more offensive to Muslims? Should we perhaps not mention Jews or Muslism at all, for fear of being unjustly accused of racism? If so, then the one remaining religious/race (the line is blurred) group left to criticise is the Christians. And I've never been called racist for criticising the Christians, and on this site I do in fact criticise the Christians far more than any other group, even though they are not necessarily the most evil. But if all criticism of Jews or Hispanics or Blacks or Arabs or Chinese or the Welsh, or orcs or elves or goblins is deemed politically incorrect, then we are in effect living in an extremely right wing Orwellian state where freedom of thought and speech and the freedom to analyse reality is not permitted. Hence the evil of political correctness. Countering all criticisms and actions with accusations of racism or some other -ism is a cheap shot, and I resist such policy veheremently. The Matrix trilogy is blatant propaganda by the Jewi

In the review you stated 'One wonders about the significance of this, especially given that Hollywood is run by Jews'. Then you TRY to give it a nice twist by adding how much you love us Jews, that no one can be offended because it is simply a fact. I am sorry but what a complete and utter crock of shit. That is equivalent to saying that 'oh, all black people steal and I'm not racist it's just true' OR 'Chinese people can't drive. I'm not being racist, I love those Chinese but they really shouldn’t be issued licenses'. A am really not one to cry anti-Semitism but let me just say that you are one ignorant SCHMUCK! Next time, don't try to pretend that it's not racism, the only one you're fooling is yourself.

It's generally swept under the carpet here in the small town of Nobeoka, population 125,000. The most disturbing story I heard was concerning a local Pachinko Parlor (slot gambling machines). Seven people took their lives in the restroom by hanging. However, it seems that only the taxi drivers know about it. It wasn't related in the newspaper. And, when I share the information with my students, they are shocked and (secretly disbelieve me). But, I wanted to ask, does anyone know why Japanese take off their shoes before they jump off of a bridge?

Comment:I am rather startled to see such a pro-ms pro-RIAA comment. Microsoft (a convicted illegal monopolist) do not make it a secret that they do not like Linux one bit. The reason for this is because Linux is a massive threat to their Windows monopoly. As Microsoft cannot buy the rights to, or otherwise destroy, Linux, they are panicking. Simply read any MS press release about Linux and you will find propaganda and FUD (fear uncertainty doubt) against Linux: bullshit total cost of ownership studies etc. It is also clear that Microsoft are funding SCO's legal attacks on some corporate users of Linux. Fortunately SCO is losing its groundless claims, which are tantamount to extortion. Personally I have long used both Windows and Linux, and I much prefer Linux overall. You may perceive this as bias if you wish :) Regarding the RIAA (the lobby of the music industry oligopoly), their behavior of attacking grandmothers, children, universities and students to try to get people to buy their over priced CDs that contain very poor quality music these days is well documented. To thoroughly document the evil of Microsoft and the RIAA on this site would be redundant - I provide links from my site to sites that have properly researched and documented the behaviour of MS and the RIAA. You are welcome to explore these. Additional MS and RIAA news can be found at http://slashdot.org and http://www.theregister.co.uk (which I also link to). Thanks for your comments, I'm glad to present opposing arguments, even if they do not dovetail with one's own views :)

Comment:While I am definitely NOT a big fan of the RIAA, I found your piece on them to be appallingly one-sided, with an extreme lack of proof. You incite paranoia, but present no evidence to back it up! I really don't mean to be hyper-critical, but people like you who will obtain any crack to keep things free and simultaneously violating copyright laws are the reason the RIAA is undergoing such drastic measures to protect their copyrighted material. You theory that the RIAA and Microsoft are somehow in alliance to get rid of Linux and music piracy at the same time is absolutely ludicrous. Stick to the facts; maybe if we who believe it is unethical for the RIAA for the RIAA to sue us when their own record is questionable stick together and don't blatantly violate laws, we can accomplish something. Best of luck. Brian - Seattle, WA

I guess you've taken a glance or two at Gnostic-type accounts of reality, but you should look at the Eastern ideas my friend. Luckily (for mankind) the movie was picked up and will soon be released! Go to http://www.gamespeopleplaythemovie.com/home.html I guarantee you'll be a fan. The director of the film is incredible. Most of his movies have been exclusively bought by HBO. His name is James Ronald Whitney. Anyways.. enough of that. I just came across your site while searching for 'Swimming Pool' analysis. I do say... that the review you gave was OK... but the people who post to the review completely missed the point. It is very sad to see that so many people have no clue or understanding of what took place in the film. Maybe their minds have all been clogged with films like Dumber and Dumberer or You've got Served. Let's hope not. Here's to keeping hope alive that more people will discover Indie movies and put mainstream movies out of business.

I vote for meaning because the beauty and complexity of life strongly suggests something intelligent beyond our selves. May I suggest a spiritualist slant: read anything by Sylvia Browne. Her explanations help make the purpose of life understandable. I can buy it - even if I'm suspicious that life is just an accident striving to continue.

I have it one good authority that Prince Charles fathered a love child on one of the Three Degrees. This boy is much older than William and hence the heir to the throne is a mixed race child ! Could this be the scandal ? Also it is obvious to everyone that Harry is NOT Charles son but the son of James Hewitt who Diana was having an affair with at the time. Given the unappealing nature of Charles who can blame her ? Pip pip !

Don't bother to say you never claimed to be it is obvious from every word that you write that you consider yourself vaguely superior. The proof will be when you dont put this on your page. Also you are very poorly read and there are a great many sources who would contest your conclusions. For a quick example, it is true that Ireland gets proportionally more money than England, but have you ever been there? They need it. Scotland however gets proportionally the least out of the whole UK as everyone knows so god knows where you dug that shit up. Basically your website is a faintly ammusing, low grade unintelligent rant that you put here to amuse yourself and so you could flatter yourself by publishing the good comments people leave in your guestbook.

As soon as this moment begand and ended (precisely the same time) the universe was the result of their original all powerful conception. The flaw of it however, they removed themselves from it along with it. Our universe may be twisted infinitely, but since we have always existed in it, we are twisted the same way, and therefore don't see it as twisted. I see the flaw in that, who's to say it's twisted, nothing to compare it to, just nipping a bad counter-argument in the bud.

Comment:Umm whats the deal with logic? its a terrible weakness. nothing can be backed up with logic. NOTHING. see logic is just a cycle of garbage. how do you describe logic? with logic ofcourse. see the concept of logic is just a concept. In addition to this, the concept of concepts is a concept aswell, which is my concept. calling it my concept is a concept aswell. and calling everything i have just stated as a concept is a concept aswell. :D the thing that we have to change is our thinking, about religion, logic, and concepts. the concept that the earth was rounded was absurd. is it true that logic as a defining language has hit a circling pocket? we cant seem to get out of paradoxes, and explain things with any thing else except logic. i know i know..a concept. but the problem is that we think too logically which is poison. there is NO way to take a new approach to thinking if we use logic.. my theroy is that logic is just what we call what we can understand..humans invented logic becuase they thought. thought and logic are big concepts. whose reality? dont think to hard.

Comment:Religions are like a cancer on mankind. The race of man is hopelessly mired in pain and suffering until organized religion is eradicated from the face of the earth. Not one cell can remain or it will grow back like a cancer and plague mankind again and again. May luck shine on our race and another 6-mile wide meteor wipe our humanity save for a few good godless few.

Comment:Great site: You have talent and I see its not going to waste. Loved reading the script of the discussion between the make beleive characters and their beliefs. I have reading some on the the Theory of everything, strings and Quantum physics. The idea of multi dimensions is both facinating and scarey. One of these days its all going to fit together and shock the shit out of a lot of people. What if God put us here to evolve to his own image. He gave us a mind to think with and learn with. Maybe years from now when man evolved enough to be super intelligent, loving, objetive he might reward some with their own universe to build from scratch and run it. Or else give you a baren planet. You could go there and plant some microbs if you used the evolution program. Then if you used the Bible Thumper program you might drop off a young couple Or try something diferent and along with the couple send a buddy for the male.

Comment:If you could please forward this message to Andy Zagozda, I would appreciate it. My sister did a search and your page came up with his movie review. Since there aren't many Zagozda's through out the world, it would be interesting to see how far back in bloodlines that we're related. Thanks for your help in advance, you have a very interesting site! Bob Zagozda

Comment:I like your website design, but reading what a software engineer has to say about religion is a bit like reading what a hairdresser has to say about politics, only a little more absurd. I'm sure Thomas Aquinas, Francis of Assisi, Gandhi, J.S. Bach, Michelangelo, C.S. Lewis, Theresa of Avila, Christopher Wren, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Martin Luther King, Jr. (etc.) would all be interested to know you found their religious assumptions to be incorrect, dangerous and/or irrelevant.

Keep 'em coming...I really like them....so much in fact that I'm sending a few at a time to my boyfriend for laughs....You are really funny. You cartoons are MUCH better than most of the crap in the newspaper. I'm very much looking forward to the part where the Angels can't help but get it on with the 'daughters of men,' one of my personal fave chapters in religion. Just ignore those characters who write in and complain and insult you...I am a beautiful redhead and I think your cool, so tell that to the buggers. cheers~

Well, must say I loved reading your articles and voting in those polls but there's quite some stuff that I don't agree with you about. Like the Chinese being a barbaric race for one. Was that meant to be a joke? Well I guess this only goes to show that we can all be atheists and yet have radically different views. That's the benefit of freethought that theists don't have. =)

Glad to see a critical mind that can see straight past the bullshit, knows his facts, and unlike the average movie patron, may very well know more than the moronic, greed driven, Hollywood big shots that want us to buy and believe every crock of 'shite' they are shoving down our throats at rapid pace. Comment:I do feel sorry for you when you think that man creatd God in his own image when it is the opposite. God has a very big fasntasy because he likes and loves you the way you are (even that nasty creature that comes out when you are by yourself) that's the beauty of it. God's loves overturnes all the silly things that go though our head, because he is more than what your rational mind can think of.

Have you ever heard the Japanese movie 'Shall we dance' before? This was big in US few years ago. Also we have a variety of cartoons. One of our famous animator is 'Hayao Miyazaki', he has done tremendously great work!
