Comment:Ok. Here we go. But wait, what. I don't know. The whole thing just went kaboom. Hmm. Interesting. So it is, yes it is. Nyet. Freeze. Eadon-Con hates every movie that everybody else likes, on purpose, as an act of will, you can bet. Right? Yup. Uh huh. I should become a priest. I would be a cool priest. Yeah. I know what you mean. Do you? Yup. Ha! In Christ Jesus we trust, I think. Wha? Eh? Yup. No. I do but do but don't, you see. I know you do. Brr. Grr. Right!

Subject:You are filled with shit>>>>.
Comment:First of all, i believe your comments about fight club are very uneccessary, you like crap [no doubt], so do talk crap, also your web-page is shitty, you got your picture in it, hanging in there; that is a waste!, You might want to put a picture of a good looking naked chick in it, because your picture totally kills the all environment of the page. Another comment, you should put more creative colors and motion in it, if you want to make some living out of it, which i doubt.

Comment:Exactly. Two tremendous mysteries.
1. How this movie is NUMBER 39 on the IMDB
2. That Edward Norton ever got any acting part in any movie.
Amazing....

Subject:Fight Club is not about fighting.
Comment:There is no violence in this film that is not warranted anyone who can think critically can plainly see the brawls in this film were therapeutic for those involved. The participates in each fight felt more alive while fighting and bleeding on each other then they did while driving to work, buying a new coffee maker, and blasting the radio while listening to the pop group of the month. This was not a violent movie, violence implies death only one person died in this film 'Bob' who was shot in the back of the head while he was fleeing the scene of a prank. Haven't you ever wanted to blow something up? This was not an action movie, proof can be found in the absence of a car chaise, automatic weapons, kung fu moves. It was a comedy. 'You are just to damn, Blonde!'. 'Hit me.' 'Every time the plane banked to shapely on landing or take off I prayed for a crash or a midair collision, anything.' You were suppose to laugh after each of these phrases. 'I am Jill’s nipple.' 'Flashback humor'. Fight Club is not about fighting. Fight Club is not an attack on Corporations it is an attack on what society has become since Mesopotamia. It attacks consumerism, it attacks all consumers by confronting them with the fact that there lives are meaningless and will always be so if they keep the course they are running. 'God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas and waiting tables, slaves with white collars. We are the middle children of history man with no purpose or place. We have no great war no great depression our war is a spiritual war our great depression is our lives.'

Subject:the new angle of 'Tylar'
Comment:Fight club really has nothing to do with the basment brawls they have. It is all about the main charecter (Played by Edward Norton-we'll call him 'Jack')It is about a huge change he was on the brink of making but he could not do it So insted he takes everything that he knows in his mind to be hard, and strong, and careless, those elements form 'Tylar' and then he lets 'tylar' take over-essentally ruin his life, help him hit bottom, so he could get into a new phase, one that he would not be so trapped. Marla singer helped to start it when 'Jack' saw her and immediatly knew that he wanted her but pushed that aside and nitpicked little arguments with her insted because that was all he could do at that weak stage of his life. She started really formulating 'tylar' in his head, but i think 'tylar' was really there a little bit all of jack's life-Hence the awesome little flashes of tylar in the backs of scenes in the beginning(film splicing, just like 'tylar' did for a living.)As for OVERACTING? The feeling WAS overexcentuated because thats how jack saw it, surreal, it was all surreal to him, he was in denyal and that intenstiy the charecters had was his subconcious giving him clues and pushing him foward untill be became strong enough not to need 'tylar' anymore. Sorry to ramble, but heres the bottom line, all in all, you don't have to like this movie but at least appricate it for the new angle the writer took to changing your life.

Subject:Get over yourselves.
Comment:I'm searching for a real critique of the film, and all I found here was a half wit with a closed mind who didn't even understand the basic inferences of the film, and (judging by the spelling abilities of the respondents) a couple of twelve year olds desperately trying to restore the 'internet karma' of a film which was basically an attempt to culture jam insideous faceless consumerist gluttony. If you watched the film and changed nothing about your life, then it was also targeting you. And since I bothered to reply, it was also targeting me. Also, since I'm so insecure as to stay anonymous and never check this sight again (so that in my own little world I get to have the last word), I'd also like to say you are both far less cowardly than me. Good work. Like the film or not, but have some intelligible reasons or shut up. The internet doesn't need to be filled up with more bullshit.

Subject:A fight club is necessary to the message
Comment:I want to make it clear that a fight club was strategically chosen over a golfing club, for instance. The fighting represents a return to the natural way of life, a return to freedom. Fighting is a primal urge and we are taught by society that we should control our emotions and live in harmony. They do not repress even the primal urges, and make the choice to be free. Notice that although they fight they live in harmony with each other. Notice that because they have a fighting spirit they resist societies shackles. These messages speak to the individualists within us all. They speak to the self that desires freedom and feels oppression.
