I am sorry that you feel the way you do. Are you just angry because the movie is better than the dribble that you put on the web and call a novel? You have totally missed the point of the entire series. read it again. ALL OF IT. And just for punishment for thinking as a Vogon, read it a third time. This and other Adam's books were written for enjoyment. You are nitpicking at something that shouldn't be nitpicked. Have fun with the story. Forget about everything for two hours sit back and enter a universe where poetry can literally kill you. Or you will end up like the sperm whale contemplating and questioning everything; up until your unfortunate burial in the ground.
I thought that the movie was allright..... But I haven't read the book and feel that I would be massively dissapointed with the film if i had, I got to the end of the first one, It had a good ending, so I suppose the film was kinda shit in comparison
