And not because of the action or lack of action, but because of the acting in the film. I think very strong acting performances from both Pacino and Williams and the supporting characters are also strong. I luv to see Williams in this type of role. I never thought he was funny, but I think he is a great dramatic actor - and plays a good bad guy to boot! Some other films you might want to check out with Williams in a dramatic role are 24 Hour Photo and The Final Cut. This film was relatively unknown in America, but it is one of my favorite acting performances from Pacino. Rent it on DVD! | | | | | From: |
