Subject:Multiple Orgasms?
Comment:Just a second, just a second, here is me thinking that I DID see this film, I must have nipped off to the loo at this time or something....don't recall any orgasms apart from those performed by some members of auditorium who were so bored with the film that they decided to entertain themselves privately... yes... this is strictly 'cult' film... I was very disappointed when it ended in the middle of the story, after subjecting me to such mixture of boredom and sensless violence.. in fact the only thing I remember from the whole film is violence and sudden end. As You can probably guess I am not going to hold my breath for one year in order to find out what happened next...

Subject:Au contraire!
Comment:I'd say the (spoiler ahead, for those hapless souls who haven't seen it) 'Bilbo grows fangs and causes half the audience to involuntarily wet themselves' scene alone negates any hobbit-cuteness issues. Entirely aside from that, hobbits have class. They enjoy good food, live in spiffy houses, and don't make up as many odes as the rest of Tolkein's characters. (Not that I have anything against odes...in moderation. Chapters that seem to be devoted entirely to wistful elfin prose just tend to grow tedious, that's all. Tom Bombadil, however, can make up as many as he likes.)

Subject:Crap (sorry)
Comment:I don't think the film justifies writing such long text about it as above.... so I have not even read Eadon's review... if I may... the film is crap... the only thing it achieved is that it forced me to buy the books... which just proved that I am already spending too much time and words on the film... read the books hehehehe

Subject:tastes differ
Comment:That's great that tastes differ. As for me, I love LOTR. They were my favourite books as a child, and I still love them and the films. I still have a respect for Tolkien as a historian, mythologist and linguist.
