Subject:Chirpy Cockney Orcs
Comment:Filthy, unsanitary in ther habits, cannibalistic, rude, aggressive, inarticulate, uneducated and stupid. I'm pretty sure that they were no Orcs in this film at all, just genuine Cockneys. Gollum was great, Gimli and Legolas took form as decent characters and Aragorn took control. The only real disappointment was the actor who played Faromir. After his performance as Boromir in the first film the Director should have perhaps brought Sean Bean back to play his brother as well. The fact that Boromir and Faromir were not twins would not have mattered, afterall there has been plenty of frigging of the books as it is.

Comment:I saw this movie by way of a psychic process known as 'Remote Viewing'. This helped me save 12 bucks 50, and let me stay logged onto ICC at the same time. Well, i got lots of impressions of the movie. It is kind of dark, and i see dwarfs, and mud fighting. I am seeing a bad person, who is a kind of leader, in dark clothes. Oh no! there is really bad violence! Argh!! This is too distressing - i have to log off now!!! I rated this movie 1/10, because 1 is my lucky number. Thanks, bye, Talon.

Comment:They[who?]say that maturity means delay of gratification, so I have been most mature in waiting for the DVD release to watch this epic. Since I had recently reoutfitted my Taj Ma Goat with gallons of fresh paint, new everything with cosmicly cool, contemporary and tasteful leather furniture......and a slick, throbbing home entertainment center, I decided to avoid the sticky essence of an American movie house and watch TTT at home. I cranked up the Panasonic Plasma 42'HD and the Bose 601s and settled in for 3 hours of entertainment. I was most taken by the taffy-like tugofwar within the self of Frodo and Gollum [I refuse to call him anything else, Smeg sounds too much like smeg]. Anyway, the movie was fantastic and did not disappoint, an improvement over the first go. There were a few minor stumbles, but they were barely noticeable, overwhelmed by the acting, action and special effects. Who cares about strays from the trilogy story line, the movie was great fun and a feast for the eyes. Gollum had to win the prize in my eyes, a wiry, tortured, twitching and pathetic Barney Fife in a loin cloth. The rescue of Frodo in that spooky bog was a turning point and formed a bond of trust, one that was heartbreakingly compromised later. Five stars for Gollum, a bloody wonderful projection of an intense inner struggle [now I'm talking like you assholes!] Top character pick! CSG

Subject:WHY ISLAM
Comment:Werent there any crusades in the christian world? Now I would say Sauron(american president)wnts the ring of power(oil wells) and he wages a war against middle earth(gulf countries). Its your america who has the N power is it not. Muslims are trapped in Helms deep and are attacked by the american armies. You must understand the reason for attacks rather than just certifying them as terrorists.

Comment:Excellent point, Sauron's assalt on Helm's Deep IS remarkably reminiscent of the American invasion of Iraq. Everyone knows that America wouldn't have bothered if it wasn't trying to maintain it's grip on the evil Ring of Power (*coughOilcough*). As a matter of fact this invasion was heavily influenced by the oil companies, which fits in well with my theory (stated in the review) that mega-corporations are a chief architect of evil. (I don't think Americans - or any people - are evil per se, but their powerful corporations corrupt them as a nation. Likewise I don't see religious people as intrinsically evil unless corrupted by their religions, or by the politically minded clerics that wield the power of those religions.)
