Subject:This Movie Really Sux! (Sorry!)
Comment:I enjoy your reviews. I have to say you're usually so right on in your assessments. I especially love the way you trash that corporate sell-out monster: 'Hollywood' and the spoiled brat actors it never ceases to give birth to when they deserve it (and even when they don't---lol). However, I just don't get the hype surrounding this movie!?! It flat out sucked in my opinion! I tried to watch it 3 times and fell asleep each time, I even bought it in the discount bin for $2.50, determined to follow suit with everyone else in the free world (free=hahaha) in liking it. Nope. Sorry I just don't like it. The music/singing is so irritating, and even Ewan McGregor (whom I usually find exciting) just falls so flat I am bored to sleep. Sheesh what gives, I am perplexed by my disdain? Maybe it is the manic, debase quality. By the way I LOVED 'Chicago', so it not the musical genre grating my nerves in this flick. On a positive side, I guess it had a Lautrec quality to it, therefore maybe it does capture a feeling of a era long past. But just when I am 'feeling' it, Ewan breaks out singing 'Like A Virgin' or some corny assed modern pop song and I want to GAG. Hey, I am even a media saturated American to boot, so what gives? LOL

Subject:I hate you Mark!!
Comment:Mark you are an idiot, stop posting things in my name dammit. Moulin Rouge rules. I love it, I think it is an excellent film. I also like Romeo + Juliet and Strictly Ballroom, I think Baz Luhrmann is brilliant. So shut up Mark, why don't you try watching the film before you say it's crap.

Subject:your analysis
Comment:This analysis was very good and expressed your opinions very well. Although it didn't explain the whole story you still did a great job. Im researching The Moulin Rogue for my project on ND Fashion and Textiles and saw this page and was interested in what you had to say! Very good keep up the good work! Fiona x
