Its like huh??? whats going on now?

Im not quite sure what u meant there? williams free to stalk the family again? why free?
And why the heck was he arraning photos the rooms interior there? and not of the photos he actually took?
What was all the crap he talked about what fathers do to there kids and stuff (to the cop)....there was no evidence that Mr. Jorkin was a bad father???
And the final end scence? Jorkins arm-in-arm with Robin and the rest of the familly??? well yeah hers imagining something again...but wtf???
overall the movie is ok...but the ending sux....well maybe i need a couple of years further thinking about it!
they should have stopped the movie at the point where william gets arrested on the street. |

| Comment: | I liked the movie and would like to think i understood it but what was the last part all about where he was looking at photos of what appeared to be the inside of a house????
My theory:
the things he was looking at in the photos at the end were all or mostly WHITE.......If you think back to when he had the argument with the repairman you'll remember he was not happy about the 0.3 Blue change.........well maybe and this is just a theory,the machine was now fixed and the colors (in this case white) are now coming out perfectly meaning his obsessiveness with the photo quality is fulfilled to an extent. |

| Comment: | The references to the father making the kids do terrible thins is surely a reference to his own childhood, which would explain why he has never been able to forge relationship/family of his own.
The photos he took in the house were him fantasising about being part of the Yorkin family.
He didn't actually do anything wrong. He interrupted a couple who were having an affair. Let's be honest, it took him taking pictures of them to make them realise how wrong their affair was. Were we supposed to feel sorry for Will and that slapper?
I think they aren't 'friends again' at the end, but the parents knew that without his fascination/obsession with them, the affair would have continued and their marriage would have been ruined. There is no implication that the couple are still together. Just that they realised that a) Sam wasn't dangerous b) how lonely he was and c) how he was not in love with the mother, was just concerened and understood her loneliness.
I think some people are being a bit literal here and not really thinking. The ending is what you make of it. In my eyes, he did nothing wrong. |

| Comment: | So. me and my friend just finished watching this movie and had to look up the review because the ending was confusing. we dont understand what he meant a father taking advantage of a child,why he was looking at pictures from a bathroom, whatever happened to sy, if the wife and husband stayed together, and the deal with the picture of them all together? was it just his mind? Please respond and cure my curiosity!!! =D |
