| Comment: | I know this page is about X2 and all, but i wanted to review the Matrix Reloaded and there isn't a review on it yet.
I haven't seen the Matrix Reloaded, but if the Matrix is anything to go by, the Matrix Reloaded is really hot. I can't wait to see it and i give it 8.5/10.
OK, the Matrix was full of far fetched ideas like using humans as energy sources - we are very ineffient converters of chemical energy - AI would not be very smart if it used us as batteries. Also, those gymnastics flips in the gun battles - as if that would help you avoid being hit by bullets. Also, the idea that we are faster than computers because computers run on rules. Hello! If you look at our nuts and bolts too - like the nuts and bolts of neurones and synapses - you can see that we run on rules too and we are much more fastidious, more vulnerable, slower and inflexible than bots. OK so we live in an anthropocentric world - what happens when the centre of gravity shifts? That's the whole point, isn't it? Things go downhill fast when we leave our comfort zone. Also, it was kind of sappy how Neo came to life and became invincible with true love's first kiss. Sleeping beauty recast. What about 10 years down the track when Trinity is nagging him to spend more time with the kids? How trendy is he gonna be feeling then, huh?
Well, apart from all that, it was a cool action film and any story where the heroes are geeks is OK by me. I gave it 9/10.
