But let me say, that my speech was interrupted a few times by hearty laughter. Something about the gouty foot of a snail forced a guffaw. And I laughed at a few other spots where Eadon had used overly-extravagant and sensational prose. But I laughed! And it was a good time. And I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter. And though I admit to not reading every chapter, I still liked this one. Really. It almost seemed that Eads wrote four or five different endings and in frustration lumped them all together and called it a day. At times it was excessive and ridiculous, but perhaps that is the genius of this work. Good work, Jim. Bravo! | | | | | From: |

As a good novel should, it leaves a lot of room for debate. It poses a couple of themes, and the plot supplies enough information to discuss their relevance without being too obvious. But most of all it's another entertaining chapter. My favorite sentence: 'OK, how do I get into a chick's 'fuck' box?' I will go into the chapter in more depth and relate it to the novel as a whole in an extensive comment which I have scheduled to write in the foreseeable future! | | | | Add your comment
