MadPole | 2004-11-01 19:28:53 | | Subject: | I agree | | Comment: | The term 'intelligent' is too wishy-washy and its definitions too widely varied to be used as a basis for even half-serious philosophical debate. Do You mean 'intelligent' as in 'having the capacity for thought', 'endowed with the faculty of reason' or 'possessing sound knowledge'? / 'for our planet would have been plundered by aliens' ==> how do You know it is not? / Intelligence, Thinking, Simulation and Consciousness are not some interchangeable words that mean the same thing / since Intelligence is instituted by society and society is dumbing down, then surely computers are getting more stupid too? / And as far as Superior Intelligence is concerned: the Intelligence which not only sustained but also keeps evolving life on this planet seems to be much more superior to our own personal intelligence which is, after all, only a tiny subset of the whole thing. | | | | | From: |

Lesson 1: Your intelligence is based upon your personal logic which is based upon your understandings that have lead you so far in life. this we could call your belief system (logic). your IQ is academic, your intellect is your common sense the bringing together of all the understandings you have achieved up until this point. To raise your IQ study the test that you will be undertaking, to improve your intellect study the world in which you exist. When you've done with this world then take on the universe after that take on the heavens and on we go until we hit god.
Lesson 2: Philosophy is the ability to deconstruct to it's lowest form (denominator) this enables you then to build upon solid foundations, foundations that can stand the test of time. This is done through practicing life without ignorance, truth and honesty can redesign your logic and enable you to achieve wonderful things with the mind.
Lesson 3: It all starts at home, put your own house in order before you take on the world and all its failings, if you find yourself wanting when it comes to understanding the truth then your time for questioning is upon you but if you have no questions then you live in ignorance and we all know this to be BLISS. | | | | | From: |

Vanessa | 2008-11-12 01:07:42 | | Subject: | Only one God exists | | Comment: | only one God exists. It has been proven by one of the greatest philosophers Aristotle. He came to the conclusion that only One God had to exist, that is a supreme being. You are absolutely right. Mankind has a limited mind, therefore we may not see beyond and we may not understand. We are too logical and only look at what we can see with our own eyes. Mankind created religion, but God is a supreme being that has always existed, before our existance. | | | |
